We stayed for 1 week in a chalet in Grand Event, near Yverdon-les-Bain. This is in the French-speaking Switzerland, the Jura, Canton Vaud.

We actually had good weather when it was quite foggy, including Christmas around the house. But we drove about 10 minutes by car to the mountain to the ski area Mauborget where we were above the clouds and head for sunshine and blue skies and carriage could go walking. It was very nice but also quite stressful for Christmas ... at least we will probably not drive so fast on vacation ... at least not as long as the kids are still small ...

on Sunday had my godson her 3rd Birthday celebration. ... from our vacation we are now already almost a week.
